The Writing Manifesto is a dedication to the act of writing, a call to lay down words on page by holding forth the truths and beliefs of the written arts.
Is this everything that writing is?
No. It’s not.
It is, however, a kickstart to the flow of creative energy and declaration to the writing muse to bring forth that ever-so-elusive light of inspiration, and remind us that — while the will to write is important — it is the task of writing that makes the words within us real and true, cementing them forever in the world of ink and page.
So take a moment to enjoy this creative endeavor with only one request in doing so — when you have finished —
WRITE.
The Poetry Manifesto is a variation of The Writing Manifesto designed specifically for poets.
It too is a dedication to the act of writing, a call to lay down words on page by holding forth the truths and beliefs of the written arts.
It is a kickstart to the flow of creative energy and declaration to the writing muse to bring forth that ever-so-elusive light of inspiration, and remind us that — while the will to write is important — it is the task of writing that makes the words within us real and true, cementing them forever in the world of ink and page.
About the Author — David Nash Carson
I am a writer of visionary fiction novellas and stories that focus on the
“pull” inside each of us and the joys/challenges with following our journey.
The Writing Manifesto was created as a result of several years of writing experience. I cannot claim to have written it, however, for it was given to me, handed over gently by that part within each of us where all writing comes from.
Currently, I travel the world finding inspiration to write wherever I go.
